PG Featured In Snowboard Canada
Winter’s not far off and riders everywhere will be looking up the best places to hit when the snow flies! Luckily for us, Prince George could very well be on many people’s radars. Last April, Snowboard Canada sent a crew up to PG that included pro boarders Mercedes Nicoll, Helen Schettini, Justin Van Der Poelen, and Dominique Vallée, as well as Geoff Andruik and Nate Laverty to shoot all the action.
In this season’s Snowboard Canada Women’s Annual, Dominique writes about the amazing powder-filled week she and the group experienced up in northern BC. They rode untouched lines with Bearpaw Heli-Skiing, had a blast out at Powder King and finished off the tour with sunny skies at Tabor Mountain. To wind down after a few high energy days on the slopes, the team enjoyed relaxing pedicures and treats at Nu Spa.
An 8-page colour spread shows and tells the story with animated narrative and stunning photos of cliff drops, the girls enjoying their surroundings and the requisite tourist shot with Mr. PG. The article even includes tips on how to fit in with the locals and some favourite spots to visit in town.
