The PG Deaf Children's Society is hosting a three-day, overnight Adventure Camp for deaf and
hard of hearing children and their families from September 10-12, 2010 at Ness Lake Bible
Camp, near Prince George, BC.

The Adventure Camp will include such activities as Wall-Climbing/Archery, Team-Building
Activities, Frisbee, Crafts, Scavenger Hunt, Sign Language Games , Campfire and ASL
stories. In addition to social and fun activities, there will be an educational component
including sign language skills and a speaker presentation for parents.

Join us on September 25th for the annual Mennonite Fall Fair at the Civic Centre in Prince George! Hundreds come out each year to enjoy a great meal and shop for quality new and use items. Food sales to take away include Winkler farmer sausage, perogies, local and Okanagan produce, fair trade coffee and scrumptious home baking, jams and preserves. You can find your treasure at the crafts booth, Silent Auction (morning only), used clothing, used books and garage sale sections. Support an artisan overseas when you purchase fair trade crafts at the Ten Thousand Villages booth. Kids will enjoy the dessert in the Food Court and balloons purchased from the wandering clowns.

All this fun supports MCC relief and development around the world. This year the Fair will again support projects for Food and Clean Water, where most needed. You can make a donation at the donations booth or just throw your pennies into the Penny Power wheelbarrow on your way out, for the Penny Power Challenge which will be matched 4:1 by CIDA.
